Furthermore, regarding the division of power, the martial artists of the Desolate Sea Region have all relied entirely on their own efforts, groping their way forward step by step from mortal martial arts. Most do not even possess a complete set of cultivation techniques that can lead them to the realm of Martial Emperor. Breakthroughs depend entirely on personal comprehension, and their history of development is brief. Consequently, it is difficult for them to contend with Cultivators. Thus, in the Desolate Sea Region, even if one reaches the level of a Martial Emperor, they can only thoroughly thrash a Divine Sea Cultivator—who is a full tier below them—and remain utterly incapable of rivaling a Divine Court Cultivator of the same tier.

This state of affairs is amended in the Spiritual Province, as the martial artist system there has gradually shaped a complete set of traditional inheritances.

On the Continent of Nora, because both professions possess complete inheritances, a relative balance is maintained. However, at the lower tiers, due to the advantage of ranged combat, mages remain stronger than warriors in most circumstances. Exceptional cases exist, such as when a warrior begins the encounter right at the mage's side; in such a scenario, the warrior is naturally superior.
