Chapter 1433: The True Blood of the Void Emperor!
Chapter 1433: The True Blood of the Void Emperor!
Upon hearing this, Kais's face turned utterly grim.
"Even you...?"
He spoke in disbelief.
Then his expression suddenly calmed.
He turned to Zhou Zhan.
"Fourth Reserve Lord of the Supreme Sovereign—this is your justification for daring to stand before me?"
"Indeed, extraordinary."
"Your Lord's Law Path must be among the very top, perhaps even a previously undiscovered, immensely powerful Lord's Law Path."
Kais said coldly.
"Yes or no, it makes no difference to you."
"Unless you choose to surrender to me, or—better yet—die at the hands of your colleague."
Zhou Zhan spoke calmly.
He had, in fact, been utterly surprised.
Before he arrived, he had not placed much hope in the possibility of persuading a supreme god-level, ultimate void deity through his destined son.
After all, according to the principles of influencing a destined heir, it was generally impossible to sway the leader of an enemy faction.
And Ka'is was, by definition, the highest authority in Ka'is City. Thus, Zhou Zhan had not expected to succeed in persuading Ka'is.
His original plan had been that, even if he failed to sway Ka'is, he would at least succeed in convincing half of his subordinates—enough to significantly tip the balance in his favor.
Then,
he would deal with Ka'is himself.
Kais was merely a first-tier Supreme God.
Yet, after acquiring the Ultimate Void—a mythic, singular master talent—He realized that the battlefield of the Ultimate Void no longer suppressed His power.
With His full combat potential unleashed, and bolstered by a Supreme Divine Artifact, He was entirely capable of defeating such a first-tier Supreme God.
Thus, He had the courage to accept this mission, to challenge Kais.
But He had never imagined—
That though he had failed to sway Kais, he had instead succeeded in persuading another Supreme God.
One of greater power!
And according to the information relayed by Savas,
He had only agreed to Kais’s request out of sudden whim, coming here to play and enjoy himself—completely unprepared for Zhou Zhan’s sudden military assault, nor did he foresee that he, as an outsider, would become the target of subversion.
All of it, simply, a series of unfortunate coincidences.
Thinking of this,
Zhou Zhan's lips curled slightly.
"My luck today has been extraordinary."
"Convincing a Supreme God—this is beyond belief."
"Before I came, I thought there was only Kaish City's Supreme God."
At this moment, he suddenly paused, then his mind began to wander.
Good luck?
Could it be that the various fates-enhancing titles and the lordly talents upon my body were at work?
Zhou Zhan thought this, and a faint smile tugged at his lips.
Who would have thought that something so intangible, so unseen and unfeelable as luck—when truly needed—would actually manifest itself?
"Then so be it."
"Here's one for you—something even sharper."
Zhou Zhan gave a faint, knowing smile, and with a distant gesture, activated the ability from the Heavenly Emperor's Domain—the power to strip enemies of all luck, leaving only misfortune.
At the same time,
upon hearing Zhou Zhan's words, Ka'is made no response. Instead, he turned his gaze directly upon Savas.
"Savas,"
"I'm asking you once again—do you truly intend to stop me?"
He spoke in a low, resonant tone.
"To stop you? No. To capture you. Or to kill you."
Savas smiled.
As a second-tier Supreme God, it was within His right to speak thus when facing the first-tier Supreme God Kaes.
"It was you who pushed me."
Kaes took a deep breath, then spoke softly.
Then, from the void-being satchel at his side, he drew a single drop of blood, shimmering with a faint silver glow.
The moment the drop was released, an overwhelming pressure surged forth.
Savas, a second-tier Supreme God, felt his divine form begin to tremble and fray merely at the sight of it.
"True blood of the Void Emperor?!"
"Did you actually receive such a divine gift from the Void Emperor?!"
Savas instantly recognized the silver drop, his voice trembling with terror.
"This was not a gift bestowed upon me—it was given to the chieftain of our Tian Yilang clan. And since the chieftain saw me stationed at the warzone closest to the base of the Ten Evil Demons, he passed it on to me."
Kais stared at the silver drop of blood with blurred eyes, "I had always believed I would never use it in my lifetime. Unbelievably, I've been forced to use it by a reserve Supreme Lord who isn't even a Supreme God himself."
His expression suddenly hardened, his voice low and resolute:
"When I kill you, I will immediately report to the Grand Emperor of the Void, revealing the existence and capabilities of this Fourth Reserve Supreme Lord."
"With the power of the Grand Emperor of the Void, the celestial Emperor you consider great will be nothing but a mere insect crushed casually by the Grand Emperor's heel."
And then, without hesitation, Kais tilted his head back and swallowed the drop of blood whole.
In an instant, his aura surged rapidly.
Second-tier Supreme God!
Third-tier Supreme God!
A Fourth-Rank Supreme God!
In less than a dozen seconds, Kais had ascended from a First-Rank Supreme God to a Fourth-Rank Supreme God!
His divine form now shimmered with an all-encompassing dark silver hue, its shape echoing the legendary Void Emperor, and the aura he radiated stirred a primal, bone-deep terror in every ultimate void being.
All of this was undeniably shaped by that single drop of the True Blood of the Void Emperor.
Yet, despite the overwhelming terror that gripped him, Savas did not falter.
Under the influence of the Chosen One, his foundational loyalty had surged to 99—nearly that of a fanatical devotee. He could not, in the absence of direct command from his master, flee out of mere fear.
To do so would be to defy the master’s will and to dishonor his faith by succumbing to cowardice.
"Traitor," Kais smiled faintly, his gaze fixed upon Savas.
"For the great Sovereign of the People, I shall never flee."
Savas, though afraid, spoke with unwavering resolve.
Kai's smile gradually faded, his expression growing stern.
He hadn't anticipated the sheer madness of this Celestial Emperor's power—how it could instantly turn his people over to the enemy's side, transforming them into subordinates no less fervent than fanatics.
This ability was utterly terrifying!
The Fourth Reserve of the Supreme Lord must be eliminated immediately!
Otherwise, one day it would become an internal threat to the Ultimate Void Clan.
With that thought in mind,
He wasted no more time, preparing to strike down Savas right away, then return to the Void Emperor to report.
As for attempting to forcibly kill the Celestial Emperor with his own strength, he briefly considered it—but quickly abandoned the idea.
For his fourth-tier Supreme God's inner intuition warned him: even with his temporary possession of fourth-tier Supreme God power, defeating that Celestial Emperor was likely impossible.
Though this intuition seemed somewhat beyond His belief, He chose to trust his instinct.
"Die, Savas!"
Kais vanished into the void and appeared before Savas in an instant.
