Chapter 1515: Distributing the Source of Will!
Chapter 1515: Distributing the Source of Will!
Zhou Zhou no longer hesitated.
In His eyes, as long as no unforeseen events arose in the future, His number of divine beings would undoubtedly surpass that of the Hundred Evil Demon Lords in every conceivable aspect.
Yet He did not therefore look down upon the Hundred Evil Demon Lords.
His friend, though far behind Him in the growth of divine beings, had served under the Supreme Will for such a long time that, besides the Supreme Will itself, no one else could possibly know how many hidden cards of the Supreme Will level he still held in his hands.
Zhou Zhou was fully aware.
Though His development had been rapid, in terms of foundational strength, He still vastly trailed behind the Hundred Evil Demon Lords.
Yet now, the Heavenly Fate Emperor, with merely the rank of Supreme Master—Unique Sovereign—had already bestowed upon Him such abundant gains.
He was confident that when, in the future, He elevated this Sovereign talent to the level of Supreme Will, surpassing not only the Hundred Evil Demon Lords, but even the Spring and Autumn Law Master and the Heavenly Punishment God King, would be nothing short of a simple matter!
For instance, the fact that He bestowed upon the Supreme Will ten thousand Supreme Artifacts.
Who besides Him could have imagined that, in just this one battle today, He had already acquired an additional fifty thousand Supreme Artifacts?
If nothing unforeseen occurs, by tomorrow He will once again possess a total of one hundred thousand Supreme Artifacts!
Now consider this.
The Supreme Will's envy of Him for possessing such a masterful aptitude is not unfounded.
Even He, upon viewing it himself, would feel envy toward his own talent.
At that very moment,
another message appeared on Zhou Zhou's personal terminal.
He glanced at it and saw it was sent by his ruling doppelgänger—Zhou Zheng.
The message detailed the collection of entry fees for the Chaos Sea, the cost of cross-dimensional travel, and the acquisition of Chaos Divine Treasures.
Today, fifty-five factions came to the Chaotic Sea in search of the Chaotic Realm, aiming to collect the Chaotic Divine Treasures.
All of them were high-tier Divine Kingdom-level master factions, each desiring entry into the Chaotic Sea to locate the Chaotic Realm and obtain the Chaotic Divine Treasures.
Zhou Zheng decreed that the entry fee would be set at 100 main-divine upper-tier divine crystals. Only after paying this fee could these factions enter the Chaotic Sea.
For each additional day spent within, the fee had to be paid again.
Those wishing to stay long-term could receive certain discounts.
Though 100 main-divine upper-tier divine crystals might seem costly for ordinary Divine Kingdom-level master factions, it remained a reasonable price for these elite factions—especially those aspiring to ascend to Divine Kingdom status.
Among the 55 elite Divine Kingdom-level master factions, thirty paid for ten days' entry fees, while the remaining twenty-five paid for a full month’s entry fees.
Even after an eight-percent discount, they still secured eighty-four thousand main-divine upper-tier divine crystals.
Additionally, Zheng Yuanqi announced that the Chaotic Sea’s staff had already negotiated with these fifty-five elite Divine Kingdom-level master factions regarding the use of the Multiverse Post Station.
They would pay a certain amount of divine crystals to utilize the Multiverse Post Station, enabling them to travel between their respective Divine Kingdoms via the Shadow Realm.
On this matter, astonishingly, all fifty-five of the elite divine realm-level chieftain factions agreed without hesitation.
Zhou Zhou couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration.
No wonder they were elite divine realm-level chieftains—none of them were mere contenders for the rare diffused crystal.
As for the proposal involving the acquisition of their chaotic divine treasures from the Chaotic Realm through divine artifacts and divine crystals, upon hearing it, most of the fifty-five elite divine realm-level chieftain factions did not immediately accept, nor did they outright reject—instead, they expressed willingness to consider it seriously.
They had only just arrived in the Chaotic Sea, and merely locating the hidden Chaotic Realm had already taken considerable time. Even if they found it, ensuring their safe possession remained a very real concern. Accepting now would indeed be a risky move.
Yet, Zhou Zheng had mentioned that a significant portion of these elite divine realm-level factions would likely agree to his proposal.
After all, though the Chaotic Divine Treasures were valuable, divine artifacts and divine crystals were not to be underestimated either.
"Assign Tanatos to lead a contingent of soldiers from the National Defense Corps and proceed into the Chaotic Sea to maintain order there."
"To prevent these external elite divine realm-level chieftain factions from clashing over the Chaotic Realm."
Upon reading this, Zhou Zhou immediately sent a reply to Zhou Zheng.
Zhou Zheng immediately replied with an acceptance.
After reading it, Zhou Zhou extended his right hand and saw the two drops of Will Source bestowed upon him by the Supreme Will from the previous day now appearing in his palm.
He gazed at the Will Sources in his hand, pondering whom to bestow them upon.
"There doesn't seem to be much else to choose."
Zhou Zhou suddenly smiled.
Then he sent for Nasario.
Soon enough.
The Deepfall Holy Dragon—Nasario—appeared before him.
Now Nasario had reached the rank of Supreme Deity, his form growing ever more immense, and wherever he passed, the surrounding scenery shifted as if the Will of the Abyss had descended.
Fortunately, the temple's space was both spacious and sturdy; even with Nasario entering in his full form, it posed no problem. Otherwise, he would have had to shrink himself to fit inside.
"Master."
Narsario spoke gently, with a tone both respectful and intimate.
"This is for you."
Zhou Zhou merely flicked his hand, and the drop of Willing Source shot into Narsario's presence.
Narsio stared at it, and instantly, the vertical dragon eyes filled with shock.
"Master... this... this is too precious..."
Narsario knew that his master cared deeply for him. But he had never imagined that his master loved him so profoundly.
Such a priceless treasure—given to him? Did the Emperor not need it himself?
A wave of emotion surged through his heart.
He knew that, though his strength had grown considerably, he still fell short of being truly worthy to walk beside the Master.
After all, the enemy now facing the Emperor has reached the level of the Supreme Deity.
A single ripple from a battle could shatter Him completely, scatter His essence into nothingness.
Under such circumstances, it is clearly inappropriate for Him to continue fighting alongside the Emperor.
And if He is to serve merely as a flying pet, the Celestial Dragon God of All Realms is undoubtedly far more suited to Zhouzhou—this is precisely why He has been able to remain at the Emperor’s side.
In terms of combat strength, He is average; in support capabilities, He falls drastically short of the Celestial Dragon God of All Realms.
This leaves Him in a precarious position—neither fully accepted nor fully dismissed.
Precisely because of this, Zhouzhou has not placed Him directly at his side, but rather assigned Him as a commander within the Dragon God Army.
Though this rank already places Him among the elite generals, second only to the Emperor and above all others.
Yet, Nasarios still longs for the days when he once fought alongside the Emperor.
He never expected that even now, the Emperor would still think of him.
Such a precious asset—why would the Emperor not use it for himself, yet instead choose to invest in him?
The master's heart still holds me!
Not just the vile, seductive hussy from the outer cosmos, the dragon deity of the myriad heavens and mortal realms!
Rise!
Nasario's heart surged with indescribable enthusiasm.
"Take it. Take it."
Zhouzhou smiled, then sighed with deep reflection: "Without you, even if I rise, I would never have achieved it as smoothly as I once did."
"During that time, you were my most trusted subordinate and my most reliable companion."
"When I find something good, I will never forget you."
"Master!! Wuuu...!"
Though Nasario had now ascended to the rank of Supreme God, he was still, in essence, a young dragon born only recently. Despite having inherited vast amounts of dragon bloodline legacy, his heart remained pure and straightforward. Upon hearing this, he was overwhelmed with emotion, trembling with heartfelt gratitude.
"Come, come."
"Go fetch it and refine it quickly."
"I'm waiting for the news of your promotion to Supreme God."
"Concerns from the Abyssal Will? None at all."
"My master, I am already the Fourth Reserve of Supreme Lord—my status and rank are utterly beyond comparison."
"He will not harm you, considering my standing."
Zhou Zhou smiled.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Nesario firmly nodded his dragon-head, then turned and flew away.
Zhou Zhou watched his retreating silhouette, and once again, a quiet sense of nostalgia and sorrow stirred within him.
Once the deepest dread of His was transformed, now serving as the Fourth Reserve of the Supreme Sovereign, it had ceased to be a problem.
No negotiations were needed—the crisis of Naxarioc’s Deep-Sacred Dragon lineage vanished, simply by mutual understanding.
Power, status—truly, they could alter so much.
As for the other drop of the Source of Will, He had already made his arrangements.
…
The Ultimate Void Battlefield.
After discussing the next day's operations with Bai Yun and others, Zhou Zhan declared the meeting adjourned.
As Bai Yun was about to leave, Zhou Zhan called her back.
The other generals, seeing only Bai Yun left behind, felt a subtle envy.
Yet they did not envy her.
Because they all knew that Bai Yun, the commander of the Sunflare Legion, was among the earliest senior generals to serve beside the Emperor. The length of time he had served by the Emperor's side even surpassed that of Zheng Yuanqi, the current Prime Minister of the Sunflare Divine Nation.
Moreover, his power was formidable—he had now ascended to the rank of Supreme Deity, standing only below the highest divine beings recruited from beyond the realms, under the Emperor's direct command.
In terms of military achievements, as the commander of the First Legion of the Sunflare Divine Nation, Bai Yun had no peer in accumulated merit.
And though he remained humble, maintaining harmonious relations with all ministers and officials, he never aligned himself with any faction—remaining a steadfast, absolute loyalist, devoted solely to the Emperor.
A senior subordinate, of supreme strength, of high standing, first in military accomplishments, close in bond with the Emperor, well-liked among peers, yet never forming alliances—
Bai Yun, layered with nearly every advantage, had become the most trusted general at the Emperor’s side. To the ministers and officials throughout the Sunflare Divine Nation, this was widely accepted and respected.
Speaking of that—
Zhou Zhan, recalling Bai Yun from the remnants of his own legacy, summoned him to his side. Gazing upon him, the Emperor smiled:
"Recent progress in your cultivation?"
"Your Majesty, with the Four-Rank Supreme Divine Heritage bestowed upon me, I have now reached the upper limit of Supreme Deity status. With further refinement in the real world and within the Palace of the Cycle of Rebirth, I believe I shall be ready to attempt the ascension to Supreme Divinity."
Bai Yun spoke with respectful gratitude.
After Zhou Zhou received the inheritance of the Fourth-Rank Supreme God, he immediately bestowed it upon Bai Yun.
Knowing that he was the first to receive this sacred transmission, Bai Yun naturally felt deep gratitude in his heart toward Zhou Zhou.
He understood that he owed the Emperor more than he could ever repay—more than a lifetime could ever settle. And so, the only path left for him was to dedicate his entire life to the Emperor’s conquest, and to serve until his final breath.
Zhou Zhan, however, had no idea what thoughts were swirling within Bai Yun’s mind.
He simply tossed another drop of Will Source to Bai Yun and said:
"With this artifact, you should be able to ascend to Supreme God status swiftly."
Upon seeing the drop of Will Source before him, and recognizing its power, Bai Yun reacted just as Nesaario had—his pupils dilated in shock.
"Is this a relic that enhances willpower?!?"
Bai Yun’s mind reeled in disbelief.
He looked at Zhou Zhan, about to speak when Zhou Zhan raised a hand to stop him.
"You must rise swiftly to the rank of Supreme God."
"Though currently I have thirty-one Supreme Gods under my command, all of them were recruited from beyond my realm."
"Among my native generals, not a single Supreme God has yet emerged."
"You are my most trusted general, and commander of the foremost combat force of the Prairielight Godstate."
"You must set an example, to earn the respect of all. Do you understand?"
He said, solemnly.
Bai Yun's words about to be spoken were instantly swallowed back as he heard Zhou Zhan's words.
With a serious nod, he solemnly pledged:
"I will rise to the rank of Supreme God as swiftly as possible. If I fail to attain that rank, I will offer my head as proof."
"Don't you dare create that scene to scare me."
Zhou Zhan smiled and said it.
Bai Yun, however, solemnly nodded.
"Go."
"Hand over the military affairs to Chixuan Tian; you continue fighting in the Ultimate Void Battlefield by day, and return to the Cycle Sacred Palace on the High Continent at night to meditate and refine yourself. Strive to ascend to the rank of Supreme God as soon as possible."
"Yes, Your Majesty. I will go immediately."
Bai Yun nodded, then solemnly took the drop of willful origin in her hands, and turned to leave.
Zhou Zhan shook his head and smiled at this.
Then he murmured to himself:
"May all go well."
The Supreme God is no mere achievement based on potential; it is not something one can simply attain by sheer capability. After all, even the uppermost Masters have already reached the pinnacle of potential across all realms and universes. To become a Supreme God, one requires a complete array of qualifications, rare opportunities, and even the elusive blessing of fate—something intangible and fated.
Though I have bestowed upon Him the Four-Rank Supreme God lineage and the priceless Treasure of Will, I cannot be certain whether He will ascend to Supreme Godhood. Perhaps an eight in ten chance? Still, there remains a two in ten possibility of failure.
"Yet, if we consider fate—under my protection, I believe He should not fail. After all, in terms of fate, I am confident that within the entire Supreme Cosmos, only other Supreme Commanders in training, those at the Unfathomable Will level, and the Supreme Will Itself surpass me in fate."
With such a level of fate bestowed upon Him, I cannot believe that His subordinates would suffer such misfortune—let alone a two in ten chance of failure.
With that thought settled, he ceased overthinking and began to meditate and train.
...
The land of dusk.
Upon a peak stained with blood, the God of Heavenly Punishment stood alone, gazing downward at the fierce clash between his own armies and those of the Illusory Race.
The battle raged with unrelenting intensity. In mere moments, countless deities—true gods, chief gods, even the highest of the divine—had fallen.
Suddenly.
A drumming sound echoed behind Him.
This drumming was peculiar—so distinct that even in the land of dusk, a place where such signals were rarely heard, it resonated clearly in every god’s ear, without fail.
The God of Heavenly Punishment raised an eyebrow.
A retreat signal?
No one dared issue such a command without His permission.
Could it be…
He turned around and indeed saw the Supreme Will smiling at him.
As if it had encountered something joyful?
What could possibly make the Supreme Will so delighted?
Could it be that a new Supreme Will Realm has just emerged within the Highest Cosmos?
The Heaven-Punishment God King felt a surge of astonishment at this sight.
