Chapter 2: Volume 2 Final Protagonist Character Attribute Card
(The first installment is in Chapter 6.5, not the main text; the second is at the end of Volume One; the third is in Chapter 127.)
I have omitted some repetitive or unnecessary content.
Note: An attribute of 0.5 represents a normal adult level, while 1 is the human limit in our world (0.8 is Olympic athlete level).
Skills are ranked: 1-10 Apprentice (barely knows the basics), 11-20 Trainee (just starting), 21-30 Proficient (skilled), 31-40 Master (expert), 41-50 Grandmaster (consummate, with some renown), 51-60 Legendary (world-renowned), 61+ Peak (the skill undergoes a qualitative transformation).
Protagonist's attributes at the end of Volume Two:
Attributes
Strength: 4.8
Evaluation: The strength of a high-ranking official knight. You can punch through reinforced concrete structures with full force. Your jump height exceeds ten meters. Given a fixed foothold, you could engage in a tug-of-war with a car at full throttle.
With Battle Aura augmentation, this value increases two to fivefold.
Of course, this is still nothing to boast about in this world; don't talk to me about strength until you can suplex a mountain giant.
Constitution: 4.9 (Self-healing ability additionally enhanced)
Evaluation: Truly iron-boned and steel-sinewed, capable of bearing the load of your immense strength. Your bone density surpasses steel in some respects, your muscles can withstand small-caliber bullets with near-zero damage, most toxins are ineffective against you, and any curses invading your body are heavily suppressed.
Your healing ability seems far more exaggerated than that of an average knight; regrowing limbs and repairing wounds is exceptionally easy for you.
Damn, you're like a cockroach; you just won't die, it's honestly a bit disgusting...
Agility: 4.8
Evaluation: Your short-burst speed is on par with a sports car. Magical beasts and horses in this world without special bloodlines can no longer catch you, and your movements are impossible for ordinary humans to track.
With Battle Aura, this value increases 1.5 to 3 times. You might try catching a bullet with your bare hands—though you aren't quite there yet, at least you won't be hit by such clumsy, linear attacks.
A man shouldn't call himself fast, but I must admit you are quite swift. Still, in this world, many things are faster than you. Keep going, be faster.
Will: Absolutely unshakable, as confirmed by the book.
Evaluation: Your greatest asset. You ignore any external influence that interferes with the mind; your willpower cannot be surpassed by anything.
Intelligence: 0.575
Evaluation: Average human intelligence, enough to handle many things, but still easily manipulated or deceived. To a truly clever person, you are quite foolish. However, you have enough self-awareness to delegate plans to the truly intelligent, which is good.
The improvement in your constitution allows your brain to think more smoothly, a 0.025 increase from last time.
Your combat IQ should be doubled, which is quite impressive—wait, you say that's all instinct? Damn, you barbarian.
Inspiration: 0.4
Evaluation: Your sixth sense is slightly weaker than the average person's. You rarely have sudden flashes of insight or premonitions (not on a physical level), but conversely, you are less likely to be noticed by strange entities. Also, honestly, you aren't suited to be a mage, you Muggle! This attribute cannot grow, and because of your willpower, it won't even increase from peering at the unspeakable.
Luck: Does this thing even exist?
Evaluation: Wang Yu thinks he's a lucky guy. You ask me if it's true? How would I know? Anyway, that's what he thinks! At least he has Aivia, doesn't he? What a lucky guy!
Damn it, I'm getting more and more envious! He even has good brothers and a good boss. I'm broken...
Physique: 0.75
Evaluation: You have gained some growth; your body appears more balanced and reasonable as your constitution changes. You look sturdier, and while your height hasn't changed much, you are more solid and lean, remaining at 1.79-1.83 meters.
Appearance: 0.5125
Evaluation: Average appearance. Not ugly, but the first impression is utterly unremarkable. It neither generates aversion nor attraction, neither helping nor hindering your social life.
Skill List (Skills a normal person would have are not displayed; skills generally require a level only if they are beyond the average person's capability).
Horsemanship (Main) Level: 21 (Proficient)
Evaluation: You can ride, and even if the horse doesn't cooperate, you won't be thrown off. Damn, stop relying on running! You've made no progress; in fact, because you run faster, you ride even less. By the way, do you remember the horse at the Mine Estate? Forgot the horse once you got a dragon, huh? Fine, you're a real jerk.
General History of the Continent (Main) Level: 33 (Proficient)
Evaluation: Your understanding of this world has made breakthrough progress. Through learning from Aivia and your own accumulation, you've learned a lot. As you grow stronger and become qualified to be involved in events, you've gained access to some of the world's secrets.
History of Elves and Dwarves? I know it! The entanglement between the Winged Folk and the Dragons? Ah, I know that too! What? The relationship between the Void and the Night's Edge? Yes, I understand, after all, I am a member. Roland's past? I've checked many materials and have a certain understanding of him; the truth is mostly confirmed! The Thirteen Keys? Having experienced it, I naturally have enough understanding. I will continue to learn about these.
Overall, your knowledge of the continent approaches that of a general historian. You have mastered basic history and understand many secrets. As your strength grows, you have earned the right to know some true mysteries.
Swordsmanship (Main) Level: 37 (Proficient)
Evaluation: You haven't made many breakthroughs in technique, but these recent battles have brought you into contact with more opponents who use blades. Through the accumulation of combat experience, you have improved upon your foundation.
Good enough to bully the weak, and you won't become a massive liability when facing a Sword Saint. It's just "good enough." You can continue to slack off; the sword isn't your best weapon anyway.
Heavy Weaponry (Hammer and Axe Specialization) (Main) Level: 39 (Proficient)
Evaluation: Your strength allows you to wield these destructive weapons well. Compared to a longsword, you seem better suited for these weapons that deal staggering damage and can eliminate enemies in one blow. After all, a little injury doesn't matter; it's better to trade a wound to smash the opponent's head in with a hammer.
Not your most suitable weapon, but you do use them quite well.
Defensive Techniques (Main) Level: 38 (Proficient)
Evaluation: Having lost your wizard powers, you've lost some defensive means, like the Wizard's Barrier. But correspondingly, your use of Battle Aura and the awakening of your inner power, the Chariot, allows you to use everything around you for defense.
The blood extending from your own body, the earth and stone walls you summon at will, the hard materials you requisition to cover your body—everything can be your rampart.
Occult Knowledge (Main) Level: 39 (Proficient)
Evaluation: You have learned more about the occult. With a good memory and the teachings of the wise, your understanding of extraordinary power has genuinely improved. Whether it's wizards, mages, or more niche professions like shamans, you have sufficient understanding. You can deduce how to fight them and identify the pros and cons of different paths. You possess decent occult knowledge, but it's still not enough. Some mysteries still plague you, such as the peculiarity of your own body.
Dragon Witch? Is it a Dragon Knight Witch who rides a dragon? No, is it a type of Sanctuary Knight among the Dragon race? No, that's a special branch of the Church of Light's knights, an exceptionally powerful profession.
Chariot, is that my inner potential? But shouldn't inner potential be related to Battle Aura... In that case, the Bloody Gale Knight secret technique should be my inner potential...
Social Skills (Main) Level: 33 (Proficient)
Evaluation: You can play the social game well and handle relationships with those around you. Sometimes you seem blunt, but that's only because you want to appear that way.
Your personality makes your friends feel exceptionally comfortable around you. They are very likely to drop their guard and entrust their trust to you. In other words, you really are a very good friend.
In terms of politics, you are still the same guy as before: uninterested, dislike it, and not very good at it. Then again, you've become much more proficient at flipping tables.
Game of Thrones? Play your mother's, get out of here, I'll flip the table, nobody plays!
Acting (Main) Level: 35 (Proficient)
Evaluation: Your performance has truly ascended to a new level. Beyond mere deadpan expressions or hysterical outbursts, you have mastered the art of exquisite muscular and facial control, crafting performances that can only be described as flawless. To those who do not know you well, it is nearly impossible to spot the cracks.
They are not entirely absent, however; if you can master that delicate balance, you will climb yet another rung on the ladder.
Insight (Primary) Level: 46 (Master)
Evaluation: Your body’s instincts are autonomously gathering every scrap of information from your surroundings—sounds, scents, visuals. These are distilled in your subconscious before being fed back to your conscious mind, allowing you to detect anomalies with lightning speed and uncover the malice and threats lurking beneath the surface of things.
You no longer rely on Ripple, and your analytical capabilities have risen accordingly. Your habitual restraint ensures that when you do activate Ripple, you gain an insight so profound it shifts the tide of battle; every movement of your enemy, every vulnerability, is rendered naked before you.
Your thinking has detached from the inertial patterns of Earth; you have learned to adopt different modes of thought for different environments. It is precisely for this reason that your abilities have achieved a breakthrough.
Emotional Intelligence (Primary) Level: 8-39 (Apprentice to Proficient)
Evaluation: Why is this even a skill?! Your actual emotional intelligence is quite high, yet most of the time you adjust it to suit your own whims. You know everything, don't you, you rascal!
Overall, there is little improvement, yet your feelings toward Avia have grown more delicate. The constant warmth and the occasional surprises ensure that your bond with her will endure. In this regard, you are frank and make no attempt to hide your affection; you are doing quite well.
You handle your friendships with grace as well. Whether it be Zig, Edward, Charles, or others, they truly regard you as a dear friend.
You are not perfect, but you are wonderful nonetheless.
Knight’s Cultivation Method (Primary) Level: 39 (Proficient)
Merged into Exercise Techniques.
Exercise Techniques (Primary) Level: 51 (Peerless)
Evaluation: This is the first of your skills to reach the peerless realm. As you continuously develop yourself, your analysis of extraordinary power has slowly fused into your foundation—this very vessel of yours.
An indomitable will and a spirit eager to learn have helped you bridge the gap between the common man and those of great perseverance. Your growth is entirely logical.
Through your understanding of various powers—the Flame of Sorcery, the Weave of Life, the Form of Stone, and so on—you have mastered an increasing number of ways to fortify your body. It is difficult to say these things do not conflict, yet perhaps without realizing it, you have naturally and absurdly fused them into one. You have carved out a path uniquely your own.
When you truly awakened your Inner Power: Chariot, you took the definitive, transcendent step in this technique: to learn all, to fuse myriad powers, and to make them your own. This vessel, which is to say, you, possesses infinite potential.
Pharmacology (Primary) Level: 49 (Master)
Evaluation: This discipline, cast out of alchemy by arrogant alchemists, is being gradually unearthed and mastered by you. Perhaps you have yet to realize the potential still waiting to be mined from this field.
You are becoming increasingly adept at the brewing and application of potions. The strengthening of your body allows you to utilize more potent concoctions, and your mastery over your own physique allows you to easily discern the nature and effects of any agent. It seems this is what you were born to do.
The heavy use of potions in combat means you are not merely a brewer, but a practitioner. This comprehensive mastery offers many advantages over mechanical study. Your standard is commendable.
"Shattered Helmet of Yore," "Transcendental Perception," "Burning Blood"... your works are slowly transcending the category of "merchandise." Perhaps one day, you too will leave your name in the annals of this continent.
Stealth and Assassination (Primary) Level: 39 (Proficient)
Evaluation: A technique specialized from tracking and concealment. Your unique Ripple ability provides you with an unparalleled advantage; you ignore darkness, you can even see through it, and hearing is no longer a necessity. When you slip into the shadows, you become the nightmare of any foe.
Having lost the key, you can no longer borrow the power of the Lady of Night. You are no longer that favored child of the dark, which caused your skill to drop from the Master tier. But perhaps this is not a bad thing; at least you no longer rely on those chaotic abilities and must truly elevate your own prowess.
Make good use of Inner Power: Chariot. This power, which belongs to you, will be the greatest aid to your stealth and assassination. One day, you will once again cross the threshold into the Master realm.
Culinary Arts (Primary) Level: 20 (Skilled)
Evaluation: You weren't much of a cook on Earth, and it's the same here. Before the Royal City, you practiced a bit to take care of yourself and Avia. The roasted meat is decent; everything else is a disaster.
Good grief, you’ve regressed again. How unsurprising. It must be because Avia treats you too well; you really ought to be whipped into shape.
Sigh! Avia’s current culinary level is 58. You, you bastard, have such damnably good luck.
Wizard Runology (Primary) Level: 19 (Skilled)
Having lost your wizardly power, you are left only with the knowledge. But knowledge without practice is never of much use. Your level in this craft has genuinely declined.
Combat Techniques (Primary) Level: 49 (Master)
Evaluation: Born from your swordsmanship, your use of heavy weapons, and every combat style unique to you—whether it be tactical, stylistic, or the tools you employ—all are counted here. Without a doubt, your talent in this area is unquestionable. You are a genius of the concept of "combat"!
You flexibly combine your fighting styles, utilizing different powers for different occasions. Your most proficient weapon is your own familiar and formidable body. "Martial" is perhaps a fitting description for your application of the physical form; all techniques reside within it.
After obtaining the Weaver’s Tome, your newfound spellcasting ability allowed you to truly break through to a higher tier in the expansion and limits of your combat techniques.
Later, though you lost the power of the wizard, your development of the Knight’s Secret Arts granted you power no less than that of the wizarding path, and the addition of alchemical firearms has provided you with even more choices!
Finally, you awakened your own unique power: Inner Power: Chariot. Will this be the power that brings about change?
A hundred arts, external objects, internal objects—all are your weapons. This path, belonging solely to you, seems to be showing you a new direction.
Medicine (Primary) Level: 39 (Proficient)
Evaluation: Your potions as a pharmacist provide healing, and the blood of your own body can also heal others. Unknowingly, you have acquired a potent healing ability, one that in certain situations is even more effective than curative spells. Repairing the body directly, filling wounds in reality—it is more immediate than magic.
Your own self-healing ability is even more exaggerated. To you, losing a limb is a minor injury; it will recover regardless. Your vitality is absurd. Perhaps the word "monster" is truly the most fitting description for you.
Overview of Special Skills
Spirit: Spatial Protection
A special cube accidentally created by Wang Yu while studying his own soul. It can be materialized and used by others. When activated, it forms a mental barrier with a limit but immense defensive capability to protect the Palace of the Mind. While in use, the user’s soul enters a space that appears identical to Wang Yu’s bedroom.
Battle Aura: Amplification
Circulate Battle Aura to provide buffs to all aspects. Steady circulation provides roughly 1.5 times the total attributes, while an outburst can provide near five-fold amplification for several seconds.
Battle Aura: Penetration
A technique for utilizing Battle Aura. Rotating aura grants your strikes powerful piercing force, making them more impactful in aura clashes. When used as a pseudo-external aura release via Ripple, it allows even your non-pure aura attacks to possess significant armor-piercing capabilities.
Battle Aura: Material Sword-Shaping
A special technique for utilizing Battle Aura. Injecting aura into other substances to forcibly alter their form, converting "any" material into a longsword that can be wielded. Air, fire, light, mana, void energy—theoretically, all these things can be transformed into weapons to be held and swung through this technique of internal-latent Battle Aura. But, of course, that is only in theory.
Knight’s Secret Art: Bloody Rage Wind (Strengthened by Vampire Blood, Dragon Blood, and Shattered Helmet of Yore Potion)
A Knight’s Secret Art from a special library. It is a method of utilizing Battle Aura that mimics internal latency. Your unique Battle Aura composition allows you to learn and master this art quickly.
In a sense, your blood is no longer controlled solely by your heart; even if your heart stops, your blood will drive itself. By controlling it, you can spray it from wounds to form a hidden weapon to slay enemies. Blood loss is no longer a concern, as the range of your blood's movement is no longer confined to your veins.
After the blessed vampire blood came into contact with your own, your blood learned something: it can consume itself to repair your wounds. Combined with the Bloody Rage Wind, your blood can even become a potion, entering another's body to mend fine, stubborn wounds.
Through the dragon blood, your blood has learned to activate; it seems to possess the concept of "life." This concept allows blood that has left your body to still count as a part of you, and your extended power can manipulate it.
In further exploration, your blood has become a direct extension of your body, manifesting as various combat armaments, granting you extremely rich and flexible mobility, as well as dual guarantees of defense and offense.
After using the Shattered Helmet of Yore potion, your blood seems to have received yet another layer of additional reinforcement.
Inner Power: Chariot
The true essence of Ripple. In a sense, the ability of Ripple is merely one manifestation of Inner Power: Chariot. The nature of Ripple is but a fraction of the characteristics inherent to the power your body has always possessed.
Your body has the property of altering and manipulating surrounding matter. Within a certain range, you can influence, change, and utilize it. You are like a human-shaped void, projecting radiation into your surroundings. Within the coverage of this power, you are the commander; surrounding matter will be summoned and driven by you.
Upon arriving in this world, your body automatically supplemented its extraordinary aspects, using the void to learn Battle Aura, allowing your blood to be strengthened by external matter, and learning more with every passing moment. Essentially, all of this is the result of you unconsciously mobilizing Inner Power: Chariot.
You have grasped what you needed from external things, learned them, and used them to fortify this vessel of yours.
Once you become conscious of this power, you seize the reins of its command, gaining the autonomy to mobilize and orchestrate the distortion of matter surrounding you.
You are still unearthing the applications of this force, yet it is certain that limitations exist; not everything bows to the dictates of your physique. Magic, void energy, souls, and other such ethereal phenomena—things that cannot yet be classified as "matter"—remain beyond your current reach.
The more formidable your physical vessel, the more potent this power becomes.
Though your frame may not be vast, it is enough to bind all things to this chariot of war.
A catalog of spells currently manifested within the Grimoire of the Weaver.
Grimoire of the Weaver (Allows Wang Yu to cast spells through this powerful magical artifact; it is highly flexible and convenient. Overloading allows for a 1.5 to 3-fold enhancement of a spell's effect at the cost of consuming a significant amount of mana from magic crystals.)
1. Fireball: A simple first-tier fire element spell, a staple destructive art for mages; flames and explosions inflict respectable damage.
2. Wind Blade: A simple first-tier wind element spell that compresses air into high-speed blades. These can be launched or fixed by the Grimoire at Wang Yu’s fingertips, becoming a lethal, invisible melee weapon. While not overwhelmingly destructive, it is fatal.
3. Vibration Intrusion: A second-tier earth element spell. By striking earth elements into the ground, the surrounding terrain fractures and vibrates, serving to restrict enemies over a wide area. Combined with a knight’s robust physique, it is exceptionally useful. Note: Mages who use this by attaching it to a staff to strike others call it the "Stone-Swinging Spell" (lol).
4. Rolling Stone Spirit: A second-tier earth element spell. It shapes earth elements into numerous hard, jagged stone wheels that roll at high speeds, shredding and mangling the bodies of enemies. A highly effective and stylish earth-based attack.
5. Purgatory Cannon: A third-tier fire element spell consisting of two phases. The first uses a volcanic eruption of fire elements to provide the user with massive propulsion for high-speed lunges to close the distance. The second condenses fire elements to detonate upon the casting implement, creating a terrifying explosion of fire and a piercing cannon blast. It is currently one of the most destructive spells of its tier. Note: Mages usually use this for suicide attacks, but for a knight, it is a powerful spell that combines mobility with devastation.
6. Thunder Spear: A third-tier mixed element spell possessing high speed, long range, and potent biological damage. It gathers massive amounts of lightning into the hand to form a spear of electric light. Lacking physical mass, its speed is staggering, making it difficult to dodge. While its physical destructive power is moderate, the intense current wreaks havoc on biological organisms.
7. Storm Foot: A second-tier wind element mobility spell. It generates powerful currents near the soles, allowing the user to lunge, hover, or utilize the force of the gale to strike foes.
8. Hurricane Channel: A third-tier wind element spell. It summons a condensed, cylindrical eruption of wind elements, blasting them forward in a straight line. It possesses an overbearing force capable of pushing and knocking enemies away.
9. Glacial Intersect: A third-tier ice element spell. It condenses massive amounts of ice onto the fist to form a giant frost gauntlet. The user slides at high speed along ice rails created by the element, then slams the massive fist down like a hammer. Ice shards on the gauntlet can detonate, causing scattering piercing damage while simultaneously restricting the enemy's movement.
10. Basalt Torrent: A second-tier earth element spell. It fires a continuous stream of stone daggers condensed from earth elements. While the damage is comparable to standard arrows, the relentless barrage provides excellent support.
11. Panic Hurricane: A second-tier wind element spell. It summons a powerful swirling storm within a certain radius, sweeping across a wide area. The intense wind force drags surrounding objects into high-speed motion, and it can also be used to deflect projectiles.
