"End King, you're littering again. How many times have I told you? We are plants, so don't crack melon seeds like humans do, and the shells are edible too!" the Kirin Elixir of Immortality bellowed in rage, scolding the Flower of Time's End for blindly imitating the human race.

The Flower of Time's End went about its own way. "I grew this sunflower myself, so I can eat it however I want. Is it any of your business? Pui."

This utterly infuriated the Kirin Elixir of Immortality, which pounced toward the Flower of Time's End with a roar. The two little Herb Kings began to scuffle over their disagreement, pressing against one another, entirely lacking any destructive power.

The Ginseng Baby and the Three-Leafed Star Grass were entirely accustomed to the sight, clamoring for Lu Yang to demonstrate how he burrowed into the ground.

"Don't mind them. Once they're tired from fighting, they'll stop."

Arriving outside the wooden cabin, Lu Yang beheld a towering tree. Its roots were thick and robust, resembling two legs, brimming with vigor, and its dense canopy of leaves rustled loudly.

"The Tree of Enlightenment?"

The Tree King of Enlightenment laughed heartily, thinking nothing of it. "That's nothing. Who doesn't know that all the disciples of your Dao Questioning Sect call her Eldest Senior Sister? Do you think that just because you say you are her junior brother, we will take our anger out on you? You underestimate us Herb Kings too much. We Herb Kings have lived through countless ages; how could we care about a mere human?"

Seeing the Tree King of Enlightenment being so reasonable, Lu Yang breathed a sigh of relief. "That's wonderful then. It seems that even if she and I both bowed under the same master, it amounts to nothing."

The Tree King of Enlightenment's laughter came to an abrupt halt, and even the gentle breeze brushing against their faces stopped at this very moment. The leaves no longer rustled.

The Ginseng Baby waved its ginseng whiskers, a hint of a sinister smile appearing amidst its calm expression.

Lu Yang explained calmly, "Don't strike just yet. Do you think that just because I am the female demon's junior brother, I am truly standing on her side?"

The Ginseng Baby looked at Lu Yang suspiciously, the speed at which it waved its whiskers slowing down. "Is that not the case?"

The Tree King of Enlightenment and the Three-Leafed Star Grass also temporarily held back their attacks.

"A catastrophic mistake!" Lu Yang said with absolute certainty, his hands clenching tightly into fists as he showed a painful expression of looking back on an unbearable past.

"The actions of that female demon are simply outrageous. Never mind that you all suffer from her bullying, even I have been deeply victimized by her!"

"On the surface, I appear to be glamorous with a bright future ahead, but to whom can I speak of the torture I have endured!"
