Parts deleted and being revised, updating later

I have excised certain passages and am revising them now; the update shall follow a little later.

I offer my sincerest apologies; though I have toiled through the night and finally penned the last word just past eleven, I found certain passages wanting and in need of erasure and rebirth, so I shall strive to complete the revisions before two o'clock.

For over a decade I have woven these tales, enduring the agonizing stalls and the endless, shadowed cycles of tearing down and rebuilding my work; I have grown accustomed to this purgatory, knowing it is the inescapable lot of a web novelist.

I speak of my waking hours these past two days merely to assure you I am not shirking my duties, but rather that my pen moves at its own deliberate pace; no matter how I compress the hours of my daily life, time remains an unforgiving master, and when the words refuse to flow or demand revision, I am left with no choice but to delay the release.

Forgive me, dear readers, for I have given all I have; perhaps age is catching up with me, or perhaps my mind has simply grown weary, but having exhausted every fleeting second, I am left with no recourse but to perfect the manuscript before offering it to you.

Since the dawn of my very first novel, I have rarely broken the narrative with standalone notes, preferring instead to let the story itself speak to my readers; yet, upon hearing from our editors that many of you wish for an explanation when an update is delayed, so as not to disrupt your midday meals or afternoon rest, I feel compelled to share these thoughts here.
