Chapter 85: Words on Launching the VIP Chapters
Chapter 85: On Shelf Feelings
Forty days have passed since the book's release.
The journey of my heart during these days can be summed up in two words: "the grind, the pain."
Especially with the platform's new book mechanism reform in May, I had no idea, still thinking it was my writing that was at fault.
In half a month, fewer than three hundred collections, and less than thirty readers.
It was the worst data-wise since I began writing, nearly becoming a taijie.
Thankfully, friends and editors encouraged me, and since I still clung to this book, I finally persevered.
I had thought that by the end of May, I could focus on typing and saving drafts.
But on June 1st, I caught a cold, fever for three days, and a day of swelling.
Plans went awry.
Until now, as I write this feeling, I still console myself with "many trials make a man strong."
Tears welling up.
To be honest, I truly love the story of this book.
As a corporate drone who's been a "cow" for over a decade, I've written out the life I've always dreamed of.
I also wish to "pick chrysanthemums in the southeast and behold the southern mountains," to be calm and composed, to stem the tide, and to have a fair maiden by my side...
Galloping through dreams, not wasting time.
In the end, I humbly beg for tomorrow's first order and monthly votes.
Other than that, I'll do my utmost to update, writing as much as I can.
I beg of you, all the great masters of readers.
Respectfully yours,
(End of Chapter)
