Chapter 335: Peach Blossom Spring

Chapter 335: Realm of the Peach Blossom Spring

Three figures hung suspended in mid-air.

Looking down, they gazed at the pitch-black abyss below.

Li Wei asked, "Shall we descend?"

"Still not certain if the depths below are the third layer of the Poison Dragon Cave?"

Evelyn replied, "We have no other choice either."

Lilith stated, "I will go down first."

Upon finishing, she dissolved into a wisp of shadow, broke free from the vines' grasp, and plummeted into the abyss, vanishing without a trace.

Li Wei had intended to call her back, but seeing her speed, he had no recourse but to follow.

"I am descending."

Li Wei leaped into the spatial rift, vanishing instantly.

At the very instant of entering the rift, he assumed the form of the Flame Lord.

He certainly did not wish to be crushed to death.

At least in Flame Lord form, even though flight was barred by the anti-flight restriction, falling and shattering would allow for restoration.

It would not mean death.

Evelyn subsequently entered the spatial rift.

Li Wei traversed the rift, darkness engulfing his vision before light reappeared.

He strained his eyes to peer ahead.

The scene before him filled him with utter astonishment.

This place was not, in fact, an underworld.

All around stretched a clear expanse of sky, white clouds drifting lazily, the heavens blue and the air crisp.

Except for the absence of the sun, it appeared indistinguishable from the outside world.

Li Wei's silhouette plummeted swiftly.

Like a fiery meteor crashing down from the heavens.

As he had feared, upon entering this locale, he sensed a power restricting his ability to fly.

An Anti-Flight Domain.

Just as he believed he would fall continuously until hitting the ground and shattering.

He discovered that when one hundred meters remained above the earth, flight capability returned.

He hastily applied the brakes, avoiding a headlong collision with the ground.

Phew!

Li Wei landed, his form returning to normal.

Vast patches of flower petals materialized beside him, and Evelyn's figure emerged from within them.

Li Wei turned his head to glance over.

His gaze shifted slightly; when Evelyn emerged from the petals, did she appear to be unclothed?

Evelyn's mode of movement left Li Wei baffled.

What was the underlying principle?

Spatial teleportation?

Or perhaps exchanging places?

Li Wei surmised this likely stemmed from the power of the Goddess of Ten Thousand Flowers.

A dark shadow approached rapidly.

Lilith surfaced from the shadow pooling on the ground.

"There is no danger here."

Lilith said.

She had already retrieved several shadow creatures that had fallen into this area.

According to their accounts, upon entering, they had encountered no peril whatsoever.

Li Wei adopted a contemplative expression.

He cast his gaze across the surroundings.

"Could this be the legendary Peach Blossom Spring?"

Li Wei speculated.

Evelyn was equally unsure.

After all, no one had ever entered the Peach Blossom Spring.

More crucially, legends placed the Spring deep within the third layer of the Poison Dragon Cave.

They had not yet reached the third layer; how could they have stumbled upon the Spring?

This was precisely what puzzled Evelyn.

"I do not know either," Evelyn said.

Li Wei glanced around and said, "Let us explore the vicinity first; nothing appears dangerous here. How about we split up?"

Lilith remarked, "I have no objections."

Evelyn nodded, saying, "Then let us proceed separately."

The three parted ways, advancing in three different directions to explore this enigmatic location.

They agreed beforehand, if they met others or encountered something strange, they would send signals into the sky, and the remaining two would provide timely support.

Li Wei continued forward but saw nothing extraordinary.

This place resembled ordinary mountains and forests, with common vegetation, clear rivers, and mundane soil.

It bore absolutely no resemblance to the environment expected within the Poison Dragon Cave.

The Poison Dragon Cave was simply a place of barren mountains and treacherous waters.

Compared to the Poison Dragon Cave, this place counted as fertile land.

Walking along, Li Wei heard a sudden explosion from the sky.

He turned his head to look, where a streak of green light appeared overhead.

That was Evelyn's signal.

Li Wei hurriedly made his way toward Evelyn's direction.

Before he had gone far, black light manifested in another direction.

That was Lilith's signal.

Li Wei glanced left and right, pondering which path to take?

How had both women fallen into trouble?

Li Wei hesitated for a moment before hastening toward Lilith.

If this was indeed the Peach Blossom Realm, then Evelyn might have encountered Alice.

Since she knew Alice, there would be no danger.

Lilith, however, might encounter danger.

Emotionally and rationally, Li Wei chose to seek out Lilith first.

And then go find Evelyn afterward.

Halfway there, Li Wei suddenly recalled something; actually, there was no need to choose.

He rubbed the Ring of Truth in his hand, and a nearly identical figure appeared beside him.

Under the influence of the Ring of Truth, the Illusion Form technique had been elevated to the third tier.

The illusion body possessed one-tenth of Li Wei's strength.

Li Wei ordered the illusion body to find Evelyn.

While the main body would search for Lilith.

They would act separately.

"Things gifted by the teacher prove useful at critical moments."

Li Wei thought to himself.

Flying swiftly at low altitude, Li Wei soon spotted Lilith's figure.

Lilith was currently confronting a man.

Li Wei's arrival drew the man's attention.

He instinctively turned his head to gaze at Li Wei.

Li Wei landed beside Lilith and asked, "What is the situation?"

Lilith replied, "Nothing serious, just notifying you to come here."

The illusion body was still en route.

Scenes witnessed by the illusion body surfaced within Li Wei's mind.

Two distinct fields of vision existed within his eyes.

Having used the illusion body before, Li Wei was already accustomed to the dual perspective.

He kept his focus on the main body.

Only when the illusion body encountered trouble would he shift his attention elsewhere.

Li Wei looked at the man opposite, clasping his hands as he asked, "Greetings, may I ask where this place is?"

The man gazed at Li Wei with some confusion, "You can enter here, yet do not know what place this is?"

He stated, "This is the Peach Blossom Realm."

Upon hearing this, Li Wei felt assured in his heart and let out a sigh of relief.

Though the journey had been somewhat circuitous, he had finally arrived at the Peach Blossom Realm.

He hurriedly asked, "Do you know Alice?"

Hearing this, the man displayed an expression of vigilance.

"Who are you?"

Seeing his reaction, Li Wei deduced that the other likely knew Alice.

He hurriedly explained, "The two of us were entrusted by Evelyn to come seeking City Lord Alice."

"Evelyn?" The man showed a look of surprise.

"Did she truly send you?" The man seemed somewhat incredulous.

Li Wei nodded, "Yes."

Recalling something, he retrieved a crystal flower from his space ring to show the man.

"This serves as proof."

The moment the man saw the crystal flower, his expression shifted.

Staring fixedly at Li Wei, he was utterly surprised and astonished.

"From where did you obtain the crystal flower?"

Li Wei replied, "A reader mailed it to me."

"Wait, are you the author who wrote the novel 'Dragon Knight'?" the man exclaimed.

Hearing this, Lilith instinctively turned her head to look at Li Wei.

She too was somewhat taken aback.

Lilith had also heard of the Dragon Knight novel, having even read some of it.

She never expected the author to be Li Wei.

Li Wei nodded, "Yes, I am the author."

The man breathed a sigh of relief and introduced himself, "Greetings, my name is Christiman, the Hyacinth Envoy of the Hundred Flowers Retinue."
