Chapter 573: . O'Neil Turing
Book 573. Onon Turing
A streak of blue surged upward from that murky, black-gray tide. At first, it was but a faint glimmer—yet swiftly, the newcomers overtook the vanguard.
In the blink of an eye, the entire vault of heaven shifted hue.
The Hundred Battle Zones Fortress, encased in a translucent energy dome, found itself engulfed beneath an ocean of azure. All around, everything drowned in that same chilling blue.
Every soul seemed submerged beneath a vast, boundless sea of cobalt.
Yet this blue brought no sense of beauty—only sorrow, dread, **
like a dead sea choked with corpses and memories.
It pressed down, heavy and suffocating, upon every heart, stealing breath, silencing hope.
Within that azure abyss, a colossal, indescribable shadow loomed—vague, immense, formless.
And countless eyes, cold and unblinking, pierced through the shimmering veil, watching all below.
A wave of profound despair, raw and instinctive, swept across the battlefield.
Each person felt as though they were undergoing death’s quiet inevitability—waiting, motionless, for their own decay, their slow unraveling into dust.
Even the trio of Hai Ji Dao, Xue Feng, and Jin Fa Nü were not spared.
Until—
A soft, icy snort echoed in every ear.
“Zekariah Abt.”
Mokodo’s figure materialized before them without warning. His six eyes fixed upon the monstrous silhouette behind the blue sea, and he uttered a long, alien name.
His voice tore them free from that uncanny trance.
Before anyone could grasp what had transpired—
A roar, guttural and furious, answered from beyond the dead sea.
Then—a flash. A light beyond description, sublime and overwhelming, blazed across the sky and vanished.
The azure expanse split violently apart.
Grand Star Commander Mokodo was gone.
So too was the immense shadow behind the curtain of blue.
They had vanished—into another realm, to duel.
A battle reserved for Tier-14 Law Domain Masters. Even Hai Ji Dao and his companions held no right to intervene—or even peer.
But the blue sea remained.
Beneath it, the black-gray tide now churned violently—swelling, expanding.
Closer inspection revealed its truth:
Within that murky surge writhed grotesque, malformed beasts—twisted, hideous, monstrous.
At their forefront stood several titans, each colossal, radiating power rivaling that of Hai Ji Dao and his comrades.
Tier-13 Commandant Beasts.
Four of them.
One more than the trio facing them.
“One each,” declared the towering middle-aged man. “The last—we leave to the base’s defense systems.”
Hai Ji Dao and the golden-haired woman nodded, silent in agreement.
The man tapped his comms unit, issuing swift commands.
Then—space beside him tore open.
From the rift poured torrents of molten lava, searing and incandescent.
A warblade, broad as a door, glowing crimson-hot, erupted from the magma—and he seized it in one iron grip.
“Fight!”
He roared, and within him, a million volcanic furnaces erupted at once.
His body became a torrent of fire, coalescing into a magma dragon tens of thousands of kilometers long, trailing infernos, hurtling toward the beast horde like a comet of wrath.
Hai Ji Dao and the golden-haired woman followed, equally fierce.
One clad in ash-gray, the other in blinding white—both radiating terrifying might.
Three Tier-13 titans transformed into arrows—bodies as spearheads—plunging deep into the heart of the beast army.
That sight ignited the spirits of every soldier in the Hundred Battle Zones Base.
Roars rose like thunder. They charged—not as ordered, but as compelled by the very pulse of war.
If even the Tier-14 Grand Star Commander and Tier-13 Deputy Commanders led from the front—what excuse did they have to falter?
**Boom!**
With the activation of the fortress’s arsenal—weapon after weapon roaring to life—the war between humanity and the beasts truly began.
From above, it looked like this:
Beneath a gray-blue sky, two black rivers collided with cataclysmic force.
“Die!”
A bolt of emerald lightning lanced across ten thousand kilometers—
Every beast in its path—Tier-11, Tier-12—disintegrated into nothingness. Not even ash remained.
Onon Turing still rode the field like a god of war.
Having mastered twenty Laws, he was near-unbeatable among Tier-12 warriors.
Yes.
Or rather—*had been*, until yesterday.
That word—*nearly*—now carried weight.
At that thought, Onon Turing instinctively glanced toward the silver cocoon.
Silent. Still. Unmoved.
Though this entire sacred defense war had begun because of it, the cocoon seemed utterly detached—as if the blood and fire raging around it meant nothing to it at all.
Off.
"Level ! ! !"
Aunon Turing bit his teeth fiercely, whether out of pure jealousy or something else.
Before this silver light cocoon emerged, Aunon Turing had always been the sole legend of the hundred grand star zones.
He represented the very pinnacle of talent across the hundred zones, a limit that trillions of living souls could never surpass.
Possessing immortality, even Lord Mokoduo of the fourteenth rank had personally praised him, saying that in the future he was highly likely
to surpass him and become an existence beyond the fourteenth rank.
Yet all of this, after a silver light cocoon of unknown origin appeared,
had completely changed.
"No! How could I be inferior to him, I am the greatest glory of the Turing family in history, I was born extraordinary!"
In Aunon Turing's eyes, faint, almost invisible bloodshot veins began to surface.
The slaughter of the battlefield, the deaths, and the chaotic atmosphere caused a subtle shift to stir in his mindset.
The silver light cocoon flashed through Aunon Turing's mind every few seconds, making a certain vein on his forehead throb wildly without end.
Suddenly
Aunon Turing lunged fiercely toward a nearby commander-class exotic beast that radiated the presence of a thirteenth-rank existence, his entire form
almost completely dissolving into a torrent of deep-green lightning.
"I am still the greatest genius! No one can replace me! Roar!"
"Boom!"
The explosive sound of the green lightning colliding with the commander-class exotic beast caught the attention of many on the field.
Engaged in bitter battles with their own opponents, the faces of Hai Jidao and the other two changed slightly, but once the green lightning dispersed, Aunon Turing's figure
was revealed once more.
The three of them quickly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Impressive, as expected of Aunon"
The towering man completely enveloped in magma spoke a word of praise.
Hai Jidao and the blonde woman also nodded slightly.
But it was limited to just that.
If it were before, they might have let out a few deeper gasps of admiration, but now...
Had they not seen that there was still an ultimate monster who could kill a thirteenth rank while only at the eleventh rank?
A twelfth rank able to fight a thirteenth rank
was just about average now.
There was no need to make a grand fuss over it.
"Die! Die for me!"
At this moment, numerous intricate and complex green patterns lit up all over Aunon Turing's body, his immortal bloodline pushed
to its absolute limit, the green energy transforming in his hands into lightning, flames, hail, swords, and various other forms, frantically battering the
commander-class exotic beast before him.
His power originated from immortality.
The intensity of this green energy exceeded the strength of ordinary martial artists by more than tens of millions of times, and it could simulate any known attribute of
energy in the universe, possessing a powerful adaptability.
It was Aunon Turing's reliance, and his greatest pride as the former number one genius of the hundred grand battle zones.
Aunon Turing indeed had enough to be proud of.
Being only at the twelfth rank, he relied entirely on his own peerless and mighty talent to trade blows back and forth with a thirteenth-rank commander-class exotic beast.
Even as the power of his bloodline continued to surge, he was steadily gaining the upper hand...
