Chapter 193: Open Strategy

Chapter 193 An Open Scheme

Through Leviathan's mediation.

Tyr and Ots met once.

The two discussed certain matters, and finally Tyr expressed support for Ots, who sent him to see Arnold with a smile on his face.

Walking to the front of Arnold's cell, the smile on Ots's face vanished, his expression turning serious.

"Arnold."

Inside a cell that resembled a study, Arnold was reading a book.

Hearing Ots's voice, he slowly raised his head, stood up to bow and shouted: "Lord City Master."

Arnold turned his head to look at Tyr again, seeing his attire, he hesitated for a moment, and greeted: "Grand Mage Tyr?"

Ots said flatly: "Your news is quite well-informed."

The jailers nearby heard this and trembled one after another.

Arnold smiled and said: "Some time ago, before I came in here, I had already heard that Grand Mage Tyr came to Maple Leaf City."

"It is a pity, before I could visit you, I found myself imprisoned."

"I did not expect that Your Excellency the Grand Mage would come to such a place to see me."

Ots did not want to look at him much, turned around and left.

"Grand Mage Tyr, I leave the rest to you, I have matters to attend to so I will take my leave first."

"Thank you for your help, Lord City Master."

Tyr and Ots exchanged a few polite words.

When Ots left, he also took the jailers in the dungeon with him.

Leaving Tyr and Arnold with time to be alone together.

Arnold looked at Tyr, some confusion in his eyes.

"I wonder what matter brings you to seek me out, Grand Mage?"

Tyr asked straight to the point: "Do you know about Soul Crystals?"

Arnold pondered for a moment, nodded and said: "I know."

Tyr said: "Do you have any?"

"Soul Crystals are products unique to the Dream World, rarely seen in the real world." Arnold said.

"In other words, you do not have any Soul Crystals either?" Tyr was somewhat disappointed.

Arnold nodded, and asked: "What do you want Soul Crystals for?"

Tyr said: "To enhance soul strength."

Hearing this, Arnold seemed to understand something.

After thinking for a moment, he said: "If you just want to enhance soul strength, I also have a way to help."

"However, I hope the Grand Mage can do me a favor."

Hearing this, Tyr gazed into Arnold's eyes, and said: "Do what?"

Arnold said: "My daughter wants to become a mage, I hope you can take her as an apprentice."

"Her name is Delice, currently she is a mage apprentice inside the Maple Leaf City Mage Tower."

"If there is a chance, I beg you to take her away from here."

After listening, Tyr nodded and agreed: "Alright."

Arnold's request was not a difficult thing.

"What is the method you speak of?" Tyr asked.

Arnold said: "Although Soul Crystals cannot be brought out of the Dream World, after using them within the Dream World, they can similarly strengthen the soul."

"I can let you enter the Dream World, you can hunt Soul Lost, Soul Eaters, or even Dream Walkers within the Dream World to obtain Soul Crystals."

"For ordinary people, rashly entering the Dream World is very dangerous, even if you are a Grand Mage."

"Among the Soul Lost and Soul Eaters, there are no lack of powerful existences above tier four."

Tyr smiled and said: "Danger? I have walked to this step today, the dangers I have encountered are more than you imagine."

"You need not worry about my safety, you just need to help me enter the Dream World."

He knew, ultimately he was still stepping into the trap that person had prepared for him.

However, Tyr was not afraid.

He was even impatiently wanting to see that person.

Wanting to know who exactly was the person always calculating against him?

Arnold nodded, raised his right hand and said: "Trouble the Grand Mage to help me remove the Magic-Binding Shackles."

He was not completely free, wearing Magic-Binding Shackles on both hands and feet.

The Magic-Binding Shackles sealed all supernatural powers.

He could not use the power belonging to the Black Cultist.

Seeing this, Tyr did not worry he would do anything harmful to himself. He gently tapped through the air.

The Magic-Binding Shackles fell to the ground, Arnold gained freedom.

Arnold smiled and said: "Then, next please prepare yourself, Mage Tyr."

"I will act as the guide for the Dream World for you, taking you to the other side of the world."

Purple-black light emerged from Arnold's eyes.

Tyr's eyes condensed, subconsciously resisting the invasion of this mental power.

"Relax, no need to resist."

Tyr had just heard the voice, when he found himself already falling into the dream.

In a moment, he returned to reality again.

Tyr found himself already connected with the Dream World.

Arnold had granted him the ability of a Dream Walker—Dream Wandering.

Tyr came back to his senses, looking at Arnold.

Arnold was putting the Magic-Binding Shackles on himself.

As he put them on, he said: "This power will allow you to gain the ability to enter and exit the Dream World for a period of time."

"It will last about a month, this time should be enough for you to enhance soul strength, advance to tier five Grand Mage."

Tyr showed a look of surprise.

He had not mentioned to Arnold that he wanted to advance to tier five.

Tyr suddenly found Arnold unfathomable.

Recalling how he had just plummeted into the dream world without warning.

A chill suddenly surged through Tyr's heart; something felt amiss.

He cast a deep look at Arnold, suspecting even that Arnold was plotting against him from the shadows.

Arnold knew not that Tyr had already suspected him.

After their transaction, neither spoke further.

Tyr left the dungeon, a faint violet-black light flashing through his eyes.

Arnold sat behind the desk, a faint smile gracing his lips.

"The grand show is about to commence."

"What place could be safer than this?"

Tyr returned to the Rhinestein family, attempting entry into the dream world that night.

"He arrives."

Levi, who had been monitoring the dream world, felt his spirit stir.

He saw Tyr's figure manifest within the dream world.

Levi smiled.

"As expected, he sought out Arnold."

Ordinary Black Cultists lacked the power to grant access to the dream world.

Within all Maple Leaf City, perhaps only Arnold possessed such power now.

Levi could only pull others into the layered dreams when they were already dreaming.

Now, Tyr appeared no longer within a dream bubble, but stood alone amidst the dream mist.

This meant Tyr's identity had already shifted.

He had transformed from dreamer to dreamwalker.

Levi quietly shifted Tyr from the first dream layer to the third.

Within the mist of the first dream layer lay numerous nightmares and scarce lost souls.

Most monsters in the second dream layer were formed from lost souls, typically rank two to three in strength.

Soul devourers inhabited the third dream layer.

Soul devourers were typically ranked above tier three.

Furthermore, lost souls of tier four and five were not uncommon within the third dream layer.

Originally, having just become a dreamwalker, Tyr should have started from the novice village.

After adapting, he would naturally enter the second and third dream layers.

The key Arnold gave him retained qualification for the deeper dream layers.

Now, Levi had directly dragged him to the third dream layer.

Tyr's dream world adventure began in hell.
