Chapter 475: Clearing the Field and Demolition, Real Goal

Wang Yu hurled the unassuming sphere of light at an immense velocity into the heart of the countless enemies summoned by the collaborative efforts of the two Utopia Organization towers. A brief delay followed, allowing the internal fuse, set by the girl, to ignite and unleash its contents.

Though small in size, the sphere began to surge with a torrential, seemingly inexhaustible flow of mana from within, pouring entirely into the chain-reaction array perfected by Avia.

From this singular point, the energy branched out like the limbs of a tree, expanding its scale and transmuting mana into tangible, high-energy matter.

Because the sphere provided an endless supply of mana, this high-energy detonation—which would normally rely on the ambient environment—required no complex conditions, allowing for the boundless accumulation of converted matter within a finite space.

Such was the chain reaction: one became two, two became four, and so on. The speed of production accelerated rapidly. The sphere, having shed its shell before the Utopia legions, transformed within seconds into a colossal orb of azure energy over ten meters in diameter.

By the time the enemy belatedly attempted to mount a defense, the sphere had already surpassed the size of a small hill and continued to grow at an even greater pace. Its staggering volume and rapid expansion instantly swallowed vast swaths of the Utopia forces.

"..."

The Utopia members engulfed by the energy were not dead; they remained silent, employing their own methods to escape the azure mass.

The destructive power of the energy itself was quite limited; even when surrounded, one felt only an erosion slightly more intense than the sting of fire—an effect negligible to those at the level of Archmage or Great Knight.

The only problem was the speed of the chain reaction. Within a hundred-meter radius, they could still manage to retreat at a pace matching the expansion.

But once the sphere exceeded a kilometer in diameter, the speed of expansion became insurmountable. Even with spatial displacement, the brief intervals between spells allowed the azure energy to envelop them with unimaginable swiftness.

In less than half a minute, fueled by the infinite mana of the chain reaction, the energy mass became a giant sphere over ten kilometers wide. Its base rested upon the earth, its bulk suspended in the sky like a scorching sun descended to the mortal realm, an eternal presence looming overhead.

The moment it reached this terrifying scale, the sphere ceased its growth. All Utopia members in the vicinity, including the two towers, were submerged within the azure mass. No one died from the energy itself, as its lethality barely exceeded that of mere flame.

"Sizzle..."

Just as the Utopia towers mobilized void energy to neutralize this gargantuan polymer, the arrays pre-set at its core began to utilize that very energy to fulfill the sphere's true purpose.

The sphere had stopped growing because, while the mana of creation was infinite in a sense, the "faucet" had a limited aperture. The energy it could provide in a set time was finite; maintaining the sphere at that size was the limit of this "mana nuke."

Clearly, a massive energy polymer with little lethality could hardly be called a "nuke." Thus, the core array now acted to transform it into a literal mana-based weapon of mass destruction.

Convergence. The power radiating from the core began to draw the vast azure mass inward, pulling all the energy of the ten-kilometer-wide sphere toward a single point.

The purpose of the high-energy matter had been to convert "infinite" mana into a usable form within a limited timeframe. This simple conversion technique achieved ultimate efficiency, creating such a vast quantity of energy in mere seconds.

Even if the energy density per unit volume was limited, the sheer scale meant the total energy would reach a cataclysmic level.

The energy consumed to draw the mass inward was also derived from that same matter. At a speed approaching its initial expansion, the energy was pulled back and compressed into a finite space with maximum intensity.

The azure sun vanished from the earth, replaced by a sphere only ten meters in diameter. The light it cast alone melted the ground; those who dared look upon it with the naked eye were instantly blinded. Within it lay the entirety of the energy once held by the giant sun.

Such compression inevitably created instability. The force keeping it from detonating was no longer the overloaded core array, but the Chariot’s power pushed to its absolute limit.

The Utopia towers realized what this was. Void energy was driven to its maximum, tearing open massive rifts in the void around the sphere, attempting to cast the "nuke" into the abyss to prevent it from obliterating the material world.

Yet, it was futile. No matter how the towers influenced the sphere, it could not be pushed into the rifts, as if snagged on something. Its materiality, born from the concentration of infinite energy, made it impossible for the towers to shift its position using void energy.

"Sorry, this spot is already occupied."

Wang Yu spoke with a rare smile during the heat of battle. Something was indeed holding the "mana nuke" in place: the domain belonging to Wang Yu, where Avia resided, was anchored right there. It was impossible to shove the nuke into the void from that position.

He plugged the small void rift—used to extend the Chariot’s power into the material world—with his palm, the power of the "Golden Body" acting as a seal. The next moment, Wang Yu withdrew the Chariot’s power that had been restraining the already-detonating nuke, allowing it to unleash its infinite destructive potential.

"Hum!"

An indescribable tremor shook the world. The entire realm was bound by the power generated in that instant, resonating with a brilliant sound that symbolized a transcendent might. A violent, destructive force erupted.

Annihilation. Countless forms of energy mingled in the process of the nuke erasing everything in its path, all eventually transmuting into pure destruction. A masterpiece of devastation bloomed on the canvas of the world, singing a requiem of ruin.

Flattened. Shattered. The mana shields and battle-aura defenses of the Utopia members were useless. Before such a vast disparity in power, they were no different from dust, rock, or soil, instantly reduced to nothingness.

The erupting "mana nuke" took a bite out of the material world, tearing away and consuming countless lives.

When Wang Yu emerged from the void, the dense swarms of enemies were gone. The area was empty; the sky, once clouded, was now truly cloudless for ten thousand miles. A massive crater marred the earth, with fissures spreading over a hundred kilometers, leaving no trace of the original terrain.

Everything was gone. The surroundings had been wiped clean by the nuke. As far as the eye could see, only two broken, fissure-ridden Utopia towers remained, seemingly drained of all energy in their attempt to resist the blast.

The crumbling towers, even when connected to the network, could no longer receive the power transmitted from the Utopia grid. Void energy tried in vain to repair them, but such meager efforts could not stop their inevitable collapse.

Even if Wang Yu left them be, their destruction was certain. But he always reminded himself to finish the job.

He sprinted across platforms of void energy, reaching the two towers unimpeded. Channeling the power within his body, he struck each tower with a single punch. The violent force shattered them instantly. Wang Yu then precisely located the cores connected to the void amidst the debris and crushed them in his palm.

"Third Utopia Organization tower confirmed destroyed."

Having taken over the battlefield, the Allied forces—who had observed the collapse of the towers from a great distance via spatial transmission—relayed the news to the Sky Mechanical City operators, who then broadcast it to all Allied legions fighting the Utopia towers.

The network was no longer whole. Three towers had been destroyed in rapid succession, and the power of the remaining ones was severely weakened. The advantage of the war had shifted entirely from the center of the scales to the Five-Race Alliance.

"See? Just as I said. Without the power of three nodes, it is nearly impossible for us to deal with an existence that transcends the current system."

In a certain space, a white-haired youth and the orc Berserker stood together, watching the three towers vanish from the map. The youth spoke casually.

"You are right. It was a bargain to guide him there at the cost of three towers."

The orc Berserker nodded, acknowledging the statement.

"Exactly. Although he exceeds our understanding, analyzing his deeds to deduce his behavioral patterns and guiding him accordingly is quite simple."

"Then, for the next step: let us secure the second node."

Responding calmly, the white-haired youth pointed to a location on the map. It was surrounded by the remaining towers in a special formation, not at the center, but at the seat of the Holy Kingdom of the God of Light.
