Chapter 707: Bubble Hearthstone?!

At this moment, a group of orcs sat beside Mr. Te.

Some were clearly newcomers, having only just joined the faction.

"Roar! Tremble before my recklessness! Flee! Be torn apart by fear at my valor! Cheer! Shout for your hero! I entrust my back to you, my dearest friends; the shield wall has not fallen, the will has not perished. Forever remember the fallen, drink deep from the spring of victory. Heaven lies to the left, but warriors turn right!" An orc with a tiger's head, having just finished his class quest, bellowed aloud, proclaiming his class oath.

A crowd of people, pushed past their limits of endurance, looked over with expressionless stares.

"For the Horde! For the Horde!" An orc with a lion's head sat before a computer, his eyes glued to the official novel on the screen, "The Rise of the Horde," as he let out a series of roars.

"Bellow like that again and see if I don't throw you out!" Boss Fang, his face dark, marched over, drawn by the roaring.

"This 'Rise of the Horde' is just too moving, roar...!" The lion-orc apologized with a face full of tears, wiping his eyes, "I will definitely be careful next time!"

Boss Fang had barely taken a step away when he encountered another group of orcs: "Waaah—! The rise of the Horde is too tragic!"

They pounded the tables till they rattled loudly!

Boss Fang turned his dark face back instantly.

"Uh..." The sound ceased abruptly.

...

And at this time, several paladins had already set out for Southshore.

"For light and justice!"

"The Holy Light will protect you!"

"Let us go and see if any of our compatriots are suffering under the threat of these damned Horde."

"Protecting the weak is a knight's duty!" Commander Evan shouted aloud.

...

The Hillsbrad Foothills lay to the south of the Alterac Mountains and northwest of the Arathi Highlands, with the great sea stretching to its south.

Southshore was the largest settlement in Hillsbrad.

At this moment, a certain funny-ball player had even begun playing an alterative character, leveling a mage and leisurely doing quests.

"This..." He glanced at his quest list, "It seems to require this venerable self to release some kind of lich?"

"Southshore Graveyard..." This mage player, whose ID was Demon God Heavenly Venerable, followed the map all the way to the location mentioned in the quest.

"It should be here..."

In distant Southshore, the gazes of several guards seemed to pierce through the vast distance, looking over with a sharp, piercing glint.

Ten seconds later...

"You have died. Do you wish to release your spirit to the nearest graveyard?"

"What is going on?!" A certain funny-ball player stared blankly, completely baffled as several guards rushed out from nowhere.

"One more time..."

Ten minutes later...

"You have died. Do you wish to release your spirit to the nearest graveyard?"

"!!?"

"How dare they bully this venerable self?! They must be tired of living!" Within the Half City shop, a certain floating dark cloud's expression seemed to grow even darker as he roared into his live-stream group chat, "Anyone available?"

Dark Demon: "Here, what is it!"

"Got camped by a few NPCs while doing a quest, how wretched!"

"Where?!"

"I'm coming!"

"I'm on my way!"

Ten minutes later...

"Southshore is under attack!"

Local Defense: Southshore is under attack!

...

"The Horde are here!" Commander Evan's eyes lit up, and a group of knights from the Golden Gryphon Knights Regiment set out, grand and imposing.

At the Southshore Graveyard, three or four mages and warlocks were currently luring away several pursuing Southshore guards.

"Hahaha! It will be finished in a moment, thank you for your hard work, everyone!" The level-thirty-something little mage walked forward excitedly, just about to hand in the quest.

Suddenly, a flash of golden light erupted before his eyes.

"Hammer of Justice!"

"Seal of Righteousness!"

"Seal of Command!"

"Consecration!"

"Exorcism!"

"The Holy Light is with you!"

"Ah—!" With a miserable shriek, Demon God Heavenly Venerable collapsed instantly. Inside Half City, a certain funny-ball player pounded the table frantically.

"How did you die again?!" Several other players looked over, utterly bewildered.

There stood a dozen or so paladins, riding small horses, lined up in a grand and imposing row.

"The Holy Light protects you!"

"Meet your death!"

"Accept the judgment of justice!"

"Holy crap—!"

"Ahhh! Why are there so many people!"

"Frost Nova!"

"Run, run, run! Run fast!"

"How do they have horses?!" The faces of the Horde group turned absolutely green; one must know that horses in this era were incredibly expensive.

As for paladins... they were gifted a small horse at level 40.

"Hahaha!" Commander Evan and the Golden Gryphon Knights burst into wild laughter, "Foolish Horde, you dare ambush Southshore?!"

"The Golden Gryphon Knights Regiment is here!"

"Forever guarding the peace of Southshore!"

Lying on the ground, Dark Demon's face stiffened: "Just you wait!"

"They actually dare attack even our Dark Demon Guild?!" Dark Demon lay on the floor with a dark face, nearly exploding with rage.

"What is he babbling about?" Several Golden Gryphon knights exchanged glances; the Alliance could neither understand the Horde language nor read the Horde script.

"Today, this venerable one shall absolutely smash your dog's head to pieces!" the Black Demon bellowed.

"How many more of you are there? Bring them on! For the Holy Light and justice!"

Suddenly, Commander Evan felt a dark, suffocating pressure looming behind him, heavy as a mountain.

Turning his head, he beheld hundreds of Horde players gathered just outside Southshore. Behind them, a vast, dense sea of humanity stretched out, an imposing mass of darkness.

"How can there be so many!?" The faces of several paladins from the Golden Gryphon Knights turned instantly pale.

"What now? Still want to camp us!?"

Commander Evan only heard a torrent of gibberish from the opposing side; though he could not understand the words, at this moment, he could guess the general gist of what they were saying.

"We really didn't know you had this many people—!"

Nearly instantly, the hundreds of figures surrounded the contingent of Golden Gryphon Knights.

At the same time, they saw the few individuals they had previously slain being resurrected one after another.

"Commander... what do we do?" A Golden Gryphon Knight looked at the dark, overwhelming crowd before them and swallowed hard with great difficulty.

"How dare you camp my quest!" A certain funny-ball player's face was utterly dark. "Today, even if you grow wings, don't even think about flying away!"

"Retreat!" Commander Evan shouted at the top of his lungs.

At that exact moment, several knights silently drew from their cloaks a stone etched with runes.

Immediately following, a faint, shimmering light began to rise around their bodies.

"What are they trying to do!?" the Black Demon cried out in surprise.

"They dare to cast Hearthstone right in front of us!? Interrupt them! Everyone interrupt them!"

Bang bang bang!

Boom boom boom!

A certain funny-ball player led hundreds of players in a frenzied assault.

Yet, those few paladins remained completely motionless, unaffected.

Bang bang bang!

Boom boom boom!

The sounds grew increasingly dense and chaotic.

Everyone's eyes nearly popped out of their heads; these few paladins were actually utilizing their Hearthstones completely unscathed!

Whoosh.

All the paladins vanished from the spot.

...

"Ahhhh—!" A certain funny-ball player was practically coughing up blood; how could they possibly escape like that?!

"This venerable one is infuriated to death! Infuriated to death!"

How could such a thing even happen?!

The Black Demon was also left dumbfounded: "Today, this venerable one intended to smash the dog heads of every single Alliance player!"

"Charge into Southshore for me!" He was driven nearly mad with rage.
