The colossal Maze Devourer resembled a bottomless pitch-black tunnel, the Maze Halls like train cars, rushing irrevocably into the Devourer’s gaping maw, vanishing without a trace.

Levi stood upon the penultimate carriage.

The Maze Devourer drew closer inch by inch.

Witnessing this, Hobbs hurriedly said, “Levi, I depart first; we shall meet again if fate allows.”

Having spoken, he drew the silver Maze Key and twisted it within the air.

From nowhere, a silver portal manifested.

The key in his grasp vanished.

Hobbs pushed the door open, stepped through, and disappeared.

Once he departed, the portal swiftly dissipated.

Levi employed the golden key, opening a passage to the Endless Maze’s deepest depths.

A golden gate materialized before him.

The advancing steps of the Maze Devourer halted.
