The Bone Palace trembled.

The palace gates opened, releasing a tremendous suction force from within.

The Bone Palace interior was empty, save for a stone coffin resting on a three-tiered platform in the center.

The stone coffin was not large; even a child could not fit inside.

He tapped the sarcophagus aimlessly with the Death Rider Lance, venting his frustration.

It seemed the noise had disturbed the undead dwelling within the sarcophagus.

Or perhaps, the undead had finally discovered Li Wei.

The Bone Palace trembled.

The spectral blue soul-fire burning in the fire basins turned into white flames of the dead.

A black human figure coalesced out of the mid-air.

The figure was shrouded entirely in black robes, its lower body faded away without legs or feet.

Li Wei hurriedly stood up, nervously watching the phantom appearing above the sarcophagus.

He immediately withdrew from the attack range of the sarcophagus.

The figure floated in mid-air, looking down upon Li Wei.

Although he could not see the other's face clearly, Li Wei could feel him staring at him.

Li Wei nervously swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

"Human mage."

A hoarse voice rang out.

Li Wei's expression stiffened.

Alongside the tension in his heart, he also breathed a sigh of relief.

Being able to communicate was good news.

He stared at the black shadow for a moment, having a guess in his heart.

Could it be, the black shadow was not in this place.

Before entering the Blood Pool, Li Wei saw the Blood Pool divided by a magical barrier.

The Bone Palace was within the magical barrier, the black shadow was likely outside the magical barrier.

He wanted the thing inside the sarcophagus of the Bone Palace.

But, constrained by the magical barrier, he could not obtain it.
