Stirling felt a chill run down his spine. He gave Li Wei a deep look and turned to walk away.

“Come with me.”

They arrived at a secluded area.

With arms crossed, Stirling looked at Li Wei and asked, “What exactly do you want to say?”

Li Wei said, “Do you still have contact with the Fire Lord of the Fire Elemental Plane?”

Stirling exclaimed, “What are you talking about? How could I possibly have contact with the Fire Lord?”

Li Wei chuckled and said, “Don’t pretend. Everyone knows what happened on the Fire Elemental Plane.”

“Hmph, so what? Are you trying to blackmail me?” Stirling retorted.

Li Wei shook his head. “I’m also a victim, like you.”

Upon hearing this, Stirling’s expression subtly shifted—he felt a pang of shared suffering.

He relented slightly. “Not much contact lately. Before, the Fire Lord kept urging me to hurry up and open a portal to bring him to the Prime Material Plane. Now, for some reason, he’s suddenly no longer in a rush.”

Li Wei’s eyes flickered slightly. “Is the Fire Elemental Plane safe now?”

Stirling sneered. “Do you think there’s any danger for the Fire Lord on the Fire Elemental Plane?”

“I don’t know. He never tells me such things.”

After pondering briefly, Li Wei said, “Can you find a way to get the Fire Lord to help open a passage to the Fire Elemental Plane for me?”

Stirling stared in disbelief. “Wait, what? Are you going there to die?”

Li Wei replied, “There’s something important I must do on the Fire Elemental Plane.” Opening a portal from the Fire Elemental Plane to the Prime Material Plane was extremely difficult.

But opening a portal from the Prime Material Plane to the Fire Elemental Plane would be far simpler.

Stirling shook his head. “I can’t help with that.”

“Then your relationship with the Fire Lord…”

Before Li Wei could finish, Stirling’s face darkened.

“You’re threatening me?”

Stirling demanded.

Li Wei said calmly, “Just tell me whether you’re willing to help or not.”

Stirling frowned at Li Wei, thought for a moment, then finally yielded. “Fine, I’ll see what I can do.”

“But let me make one thing clear—if you run into trouble on the Fire Elemental Plane, don’t blame me. You brought it upon yourself.”

Li Wei nodded. “It has nothing to do with you.”

That afternoon, Stirling found Li Wei again.

“Ragnar agreed. He’s willing to assist you in opening a teleportation channel to the Fire Elemental Plane,” Stirling said.

Li Wei was delighted. “When?”

“Tomorrow morning at eight o’clock,” Stirling replied.

“Thank you,” Li Wei expressed his gratitude.

Stirling snorted coldly. “I hope you never come back.”

He stated without hesitation.

Li Wei laughed softly. “Then I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed.”

At half past seven on the second morning, Li Wei was already well-prepared.

With Steele's assistance, the two of them opened a one-way teleportation channel leading to the Fire Elemental Plane within the fire elemental fragments of the cultivation secret realm.

Li Wei stepped into the teleportation channel.

The fiery vortex rapidly shrank and vanished without a trace.

Steele watched as Li Wei disappeared, yet his anxious heart remained unrelieved.

He turned back to look, "Master, are you certain you want to help him like this?"

A figure materialized behind Steele, clad in a crimson mage's robe that resembled burning clouds of fire.

"Let him go see for himself. Perhaps he possesses something I desire."

The crimson figure spoke.

Steele gazed silently, saying nothing.

His willingness to aid Li Wei stemmed not from threats spoken by Li Wei himself.

Rather, it was because his master stood behind him, compelling him to agree to Li Wei's request.

Steele could not comprehend why his master chose to assist Li Wei.

Whoosh!

A fiery vortex appeared within the volcano.

A silhouette emerged from the flaming whirlpool.

Scarcely had Li Wei stepped out of the vortex when he felt an intensely oppressive gaze bearing down upon him from above.

Looking up, the colossal form of the Fire Elemental Lord Ragnar filled his vision.

Ragnar gazed down at Li Wei, his lips curling upward.

"Pitiful insect, you dare return here."

Ragnar laughed with evident delight.

Li Wei regarded him calmly and said, "Lord Fire Elemental, I beseech you to show me some respect. We are now allies."

"Heh, human insect... ah, forgive me, I let my emotions get the better of me."

Upon seeing Li Wei produce the rune summoning stone that signified the status of Fire Elemental Elder, Ragnar promptly backed down.

Behind Li Wei stood a Fire Elemental Elder possessing legendary combat prowess.

Ragnar had no desire to offend the formidable being who stood behind him.

Though a legendary Fire Elemental Lord might not concern himself with a mere Fire Elemental Elder,

Ragnar was not yet at that level.

Li Wei smiled and said, "No matter. We are companions all. I have matters to attend to and must take my leave now. Until we meet again."

Watching Li Wei's figure fade into the distance, Ragnar spat out a mouthful of molten rock.

"Pah! 'Until we meet again' indeed—a crafty human, through and through."
